GREENVILLE, SC – November 29, 2019 – Braxton Wilson, JL Mann and Clemson Alumni and founder of Palmetto Entertainment is returning to Greenville to produce the Reedy River Grand Ball on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. The inaugural event is an upscale, millennial-focused, live music-based New Year’s Eve event with champagne pouring aerialists, club-style table service options, hotel packages, red carpet entrance, and food catered by Greenville’s finest, Rick Erwin’s. The Reedy River Grand Ball is designed to break the mold of Greenville’s entrainment and event scene with a New York City Vibe.
During Wilson’s time at Clemson, he began booking bands to play at backyard parties, housing developments, and tailgates where he would charge a fee at the door to get in, bring in sponsors, handle all necessary legal work through the city, etc. He was booking artists in college like LANco, Jon Langston, Clark Manson, Waka Flocka, Ben G, Kane Brown, Doug McCormick, Sammy Kershaw, Atlas Road Crew, John Michael Montgomery, and many others. Once he started making a substantial profit, he turned talent buying and live music production into his full-time career.
He has been apart of productions like Carolina Country Music Fest, Carolina Country Music Cruise, Greenville Country Music Fest, Full concert operations at Heritage Park Amphitheater/CCMB Amphitheater, Civic Center Anderson and William A Floyd Amphitheater. Wilson has produced many concerts at Denver Downs like Chris Janson & Scotty McCreery and Co-produced many years of upscale NYE events around the Southeast ranging from 1000-5500 people.
Braxton Wilson has lots to celebrate but his “greatest achievement is being able to look out in a crowd of thousands of people while they enjoy a show you’ve worked months on, knowing each and every one of them is exactly where they want to be.
